A tree-shaded pool in an unnamed tributary of Sauquoit Creek, somewhere in Central NY. Since this painting was created most of the trees that shaded the pool have been cut down, so it will never look like this again, hence the title. Basically, this is a painting of a memory, of a vanished landscape, which I didn't know it was going to be when I painted it.
